Shaving cream marbling is one of our all-time favorite kid’s art activities and every holiday, special occasion, and season, the kids always come back to wanting to create paper marbling with shaving cream.

Everyone loves this great Marbled Shaving Cream Hearts. Whether you give them to friends or use them to decorate your house. I suggest adding thisheart-shaped craft to your February activities.

How to Make Marbled Paper Hearts

After you have gathered your supplies, start by spraying a layer of shaving cream on a small pan.

Take 2 colors of paint, squeeze stripes of a color in one direction, and squeeze stripes of the other color in the other direction.

Make sure you leave plenty of white foam showing as well.

Shaving Cream Hearts

Take a sheet of paper and lay it on top of the paint and shaving cream. Press down gently to make sure the paper is completely coated on the front side, then lift it off and lay it face up on a piece of parchment paper or a prepared area.

Take your scraper and slide it along the paper so that the shaving cream and paint is scraping off. Children love seeing the shaving cream slide off and the beautiful marbled design left on the paper.

Empty the pan of shaving cream and paint, or have extra containers for different color combinations. Repeat the steps until all your other sheets of paper are done with different colors.

Let them all dry.

When the marbled paper is dry, cut outa heart template from any size paper. Trace the template on the backs of your dried shaving cream art papers and cut them out.

1. In a small pan, spray a layer of shaving cream.

2. Take 2 colors of paint, squeeze stripes of one color in one direction, and squeeze stripes of the other color in the other direction. Make sure you leave plenty of white foam showing as well.

3. Take a sheet of paper and lay it on top of the paint and shaving cream. Press down gently to make sure the paper is completely coated on the front side, then lift it off and lay it face up on a piece of parchment paper.

4. Take your scraper and slide it along the paper so that the shaving cream and paint is scraping off. Press firmly on the paper so that you don’t leave any excess behind.

5. Empty the pan of shaving cream/paint, and repeat steps 1-4 until all your other sheets of paper are done with different colors. Let them all dry.

6. Make a heart template out of a piece of paper, any size you want. Trace the template on the backs of your dried shaving cream paint papers and cut them out.

You now have fun and pretty Valentine Marbled Hearts of different colors. Pass them out or keep for yourself! Have fun!
